Biography
I'm a First-Class graduate of Geomatics from the University of Benin, driven by a curiosity for how satellite observations can help us understand and protect our environment. I work at the intersection of remote sensing, machine learning, and hydroinformatics, studying water resources, river systems, and climate patterns across sub-Saharan Africa.
I've contributed to EU and TETFund‑supported research, and I'm currently collaborating with the Earth Systems & Resources (ESR) Laboratory at the University of Georgia on hydrological modeling of land use change impacts in Lagos State. I build with Google Earth Engine, Python, MATLAB, JavaScript, and ArcGIS, and I've completed online training programs with the United Nations University and Esri.
Beyond the code and data, I mentor students, capture moments through photography, and believe that curiosity and impact go hand in hand.
My Research Interests
I am passionate about using Earth observation data and computational tools to address pressing environmental challenges, particularly in data-scarce regions like sub-Saharan Africa.
Hydroinformatics & Machine Learning
Applying ML and deep learning to hydrological modeling, forecasting, and water resource management.
Satellite Remote Sensing of Water Resources
Using Earth observation data to monitor river morphodynamics, surface water, and climate-hydrology interactions.
Groundwater & Climate Interactions
Using GRACE/GRACE-FO and machine learning to track groundwater storage anomalies and recharge-discharge dynamics.
Geospatial Data Science & Decision Support
Building data-driven tools and dashboards to support environmental planning and flood risk assessment.
My Projects
What can I help you with?

Research Collaboration & Mentorship
Supporting research in hydroinformatics, remote sensing, and machine learning. Mentoring peers and junior students in Geomatics and Engineering, simplifying complex concepts, leading study sessions, and helping others grow in their academic and professional journeys.

Full-Stack Web Development
Building scalable, user-focused web applications from concept to deployment. Proficient in modern technologies like React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. Whether it's a dashboard, a SaaS product, or a custom platform. I turn ideas into functional, performant software.

Geospatial Data Science
Applying Python, Google Earth Engine, and machine learning to satellite imagery for land cover classification, river morphodynamics, flood risk assessment, and environmental monitoring across data-scarce regions.
What people say about me
Moments that Mattered
There’s a certain kind of growth that only happens when you step away from the screen and into the community. My time during the National Youth Service Corps was less about a requirement and more about finding where my skills could actually meet a neighbor's need. Whether it was navigating the energy of a classroom or spearheading local projects, these moments redefined what "building" means to me. moving from digital frameworks to human ones, and learning that the best way to move forward is to never forget where you started.
